  I sent this to the owner, he responded by saying thank you and he would get back to me, he did not, so I inquired about a response and he never did respond. This concerns me more than a poor employees conduct.
  Stopped at your shop at 5:45 Saturday to purchase a picnic lunch to take to the Big Top. First, The sandwiches were very good, but our customer service experience was not. We told the "young lady" we would like to purchase some sandwiches her response was "there in the case" We said the glass was fogged and we couldn't see, she came over in a huff and wiped off the glass, We selected four sandwiches and went to pay for them and one of our group said he would pay for them all, her response was "I'm not done with what I'm doing" We then asked if she could cut the sandwiches in half, her response was "we're too busy sandwiches are for lunch "even though there were two people behind the counter not actively doing anything. I said we just spent about $30 and you won't cut a sandwich in half." No, have a nice day " I asked if she was the owner and she said "No" and walked away. The person was taller, dark hair and her name according to another employee started with a "D". As a person who spent 35 years in the service industry I thought the owner would be Interested in this type of service.

  The trout was pretty good in the fish tacos but the salsa was lacking. Additionally they ran out of some ingredients and couldn't make all the dishes on the menu. The staff was friendly though.

  This place is just a really cool, really good restaurant. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. Service was really friendly. Vegetarian (possibly vegan?) options. This place knows what they're doing. Perfect for popping into on a busy day or sitting down to enjoy a leisurely meal. A highlight of my Apostle Islands trip.
